Alternate Logon Method?

This is probably a dumb question and a pipe dream, but is there (or can there be) an alternate way to logon?

I can access the site from work, but they have blocked the actual login URL. I dont know exactly what the URL is since I can obviously log on from home, but I know it has the word login.

Any workaround outside of having our proxy people unblock it? (I already asked them nicely but apparently it's a much bigger process..)

Thanks

I don't know of another way to login. We try to keep our site very professional and we intend for it to be used by computer experts while at work. This is why our site is rather heavily moderated.

A lot of useful sites will be denied to you if you cannot access any url containing the string "login". But if that is your company's policy you should not try to bypass it. And I don't think that we should try to help you bypass your company's proxy rules.

BTW, once you enter your user name and password you are automatically sent to: https://www.unix.com/login.php?do=login but we reserve the right to make changes in the precise url used. We buy the vbulletin software and url changes may occur as we upgrade to newer versions of the software.

Also, sometimes people have login problems when their computer does not accept cookies.

This site requires cookies when you are logged in.
