Problem changing the email address associated with my UNIX.com account

Hello
I have had an account for many years.
I have attempted to change the email address associated with my account.

After logging-in to unix.com and revising my email address, I received a 're-verification' email at that new address.
The first link in that email took me to a page with the following error message:
"Invalid User specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator".

If that URL does not work, the email instructs the user to go to "https://www.unix.com/register.php?a=ver" and enter my username and re-activation code.

This I did and received the following error message:
"You have entered an invalid username or password. Please press the back button, enter the correct details and try again. Don't forget that the password is case sensitive. Forgotten your password? Click here!".

The email advises: "If you are still having problems verifying please contact a member of our support staff," hence this post.
Are you able to offer any assistance, please?
Thank you.

What was your old userid or email?

Maybe just create a new account?

I see this link works:

Code:
https://www.unix.com/register.php?a=ver

We have been making changing and upgrading, so it might be easier to post the info here until we get everything upgraded.

Also, we recently purges all account with zero post which have links and have not been active since 1 Jan 2018.

If you did not have any posts and were not active in 2018, it's better to create a new account.

If your login account works, just post the info (your username and email address) and I'll fix it manually for now and email you your new password.
