Any way I can process data from first a to just before of second a, and then second a to just before of 3rd one.

I am using Solaris Sparc 10,and facing some issues.
HD:80gb ; Root = 11gb(currently using) , I have made a parttition in the c0t0d0s2 slice(which is of 60gb & the partition tag is 'usr'),and I have done newfs on -> /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s2 which is mounted on /export (having ufs filesystem).

If we have 3 process to write to same log file at the same time like below. will it cause the data outdated because the multiple process writing same time? It this a safe way to keep the log for multiple process?

I want to lock the access to file system such that i can only browse my home folder not other locations like /, /usr, /bin and all.

SYNOPSIS
nautilus-file-management-properties [gnome-std-options]
DESCRIPTION
nautilus-file-management-properties invokes the GUI that changes the preferences associated with the desktop file manager.
OPTIONS
The following options are supported:
gnome-std-optionStandard options available for use with most GNOME applications. See gnome-std-options(5) for more information.
