Need command to find missing operating system security patches

Hi,

Need a command to find out Missing operating system patches for AIX 7.1 or a command to list down all installed patches.

From a very old 2009 post on the Internet:

If you already know the patch you are looking for the syntax for instfix is:

Code:
instfix -ik |grep IYXXXXX (or IZXXXXX)

Also, from the archives:

Or do you mean missing requisites or filesets, check out:

Code:
lppchk -v

Or even,

Code:
oslevel -rl oslevel format

But as I said, these are very old command from a 10 year old archive and sorry but I don't have an AIX system to test.

We have a very old set of AIX man pages here but they are only available to the mods since they do not format correctly on Linux server backends.
