Need to confirm something regarding TL upgrades

Hi everyone,

My current AIX OS level is "7100-01-06-1241"
and I am planning to upgrade it to " 7100-02-03 ".

Can i directly upgrade it to "7100-02-03" from 7100-01-06" ?

or first i need to upgrade the "7100-01-06" LPAR to TL 02 and then reboot and
then upgrade it to TL 02 SP03 ?

Please provide your comments

Thanks

Don't you think we discuss this before?

Yes, you can directly jump from AIX 7100-01-06-1241 to AIX 7100-02-03-1334
Just make sure you select the prerequisites (check mark), while downloading TL02SP03.

You don't have to do a 2 step process, Directly you can jump to your desired level.

But, make sure you have a copy of your previous OS (either multibos or alt_disk).
