IBM How to find Primary & Secondary VIOS?

Hi,

In a Dual VIOSs setup having 4 SEA adapters each, how to find which one is Primary and Secondary.?

If you open the properties tab for virtual ethernet of the VIOS using the browser interface it is easy to see.

In your previous post - that I already answered - in is in the output. The number 1 and 2 (in a group of 5) that alternates/toggles between vioservers.

Talk to your employer about a course. If you are self-employed it is also a good investment in yourself. My humble opinion is that you are not ready to be working, alone, with POWER systems - at least not with the virtualization of them. (FYI)
