Code Page IBM-860

Helo all,

I' trying to print Portuguese special characters like ç, ã, º, º .
I already set my print queue for CODE PAGE of printer ibm.860 but every time i send a print test i receive the following error:

0782-059 Attribute name passed to subroutine piocmdout
by program /usr/lib/lpd/pio/fmtrs/piofasci is not valid.
The attribute name is c8
The print queue and queue device names are XXX-999:hp@XXX-999
Use local problem reporting procedures.

Ideas?

You sure have seen this link, haven't you?

It might not be the same OS version as yours, but a similar reason. Removing and rebuilding the print queue is worth a try.

I hope this helps.

Hi Bakunin, the version of AIX that i have installed is the 5.3. I'm able to print any document but only using code page 850. If i change to code page 860 i get the same error.
