Hello Everyone,

Can someone help me to mount a SAN hdisk which contains a clone data copy(san) of the remote server to the another machine. Both servers are running in AIX.

Thanks in advance !

What do you mean exactly
Does your rootvg resides on the SAN and the sever boots over SAN or what do you mean more explanation is required.
Please note : no need to post in the unix-advanced-expert-users sub forum you can post in AIX sub froumSmilie.

Hello H,

Thanks for your reply. Apologizes for the post wrong forum selection .

We are having 2 environment PROD and UAT. All the servers from the both env having SAN boot and SAN disks. We would like to clone a complete disk(SAN) on a UAT and Mount that cloned one to the Prod.

After cloned I have created new VG and LV (not FS) on the cloned SAN disk and trying to mount as FS with data, but its throwing "PV corrupted" error.
What is the procedure I need to follow before and after cloning to mount the cloned one as a FS with data.

Thanks ,
Gowtham.G
