Honestly: when i entered "AIX snmp redbook" in ixquick.com (i shun google) i got several gazillions of hits. Following just two of them revealed:

The second one is quite often pointed to in other references and should (despite the title, which suggests differently) deal quite a lot with SNMP.

We are trying to help each other solving concrete, well laid-out problems. Asking for "tell me all i might need to know (or, better yet: do it yourself altogether and just tell me when its done)" is an attitude which will get you stony silence only here.
