AIX and HMC installation issue
I started the AIX install with a fiber channel disk, and let it run:

Finally it asked for a terminal type, before I could answer, it went past that
option and reported an error:

The Power InfoCenter states the following about this error:

Explanation
An invalid network configuration was entered by the user.

I found a couple forums that mentioned that a B1A38B24 indicated
an invalid network config as well

What I don;t quite understand is that I did not get a chance to
enter network configuration data.

I did not get a change to put in the second installation disk
(DVD 2 of 2).

Do you have any idea how I can go about resolving this error ?

who set up the network definition in the LPAR's profile?

HMC network
I think its just miss connection between the HMC and the LPAR,

just try to continue the installation, and you should get the login console,

if not, maybe you'll need to update you machine firmware for aix 7 support.

you can use the FLRT tool from IBM to determine what firmware your machine will need.
