It would help if you would tell us some details: what exactly are the versions of your OS, what exactly do you want to install, what is some relevant data (like, for instance, the output of "lslpp -l" before and after the installation attempt).
Most of us have their Crystal Spheres being in repair these days, along with the "Wand of Ultimate Soothsaying", which reduces us to pretty mere mortals.
