well I have installed now subversion-1.4.6-2.aix5.1.ppc.rpm and I want to let you know that we are runing aix 6.1 is it suitable?? after instalation when I execute svn command the following occurs

exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program svn because of the following errors:
        0509-150   Dependent module /opt/freeware/lib/libintl.a(libintl.so.8) could not be loaded.
        0509-152   Member libintl.so.8 is not found in archive

Did you install all the prerequisites (that are also available from Michael Perzl's website)?

No I did not installed pre requisites.. i will try tomorrow and let you report if I success.. thanks everybody :-)

Well Dear friends my usern ame was WWWZVIADI . I am Logged in with other user name... well friends I have installed all the prerequisite files for SVN and now it works well ;-) thanks to every body and thanks to this forum

dear all, I want to let you know that SVN does not really work on

this TL .. I even installed latest service pack but still no any use of it...
Afterward I installed TL3 [code]6100-03-03-0943 [/code ]with latest service pack and therefore SVN core dumps disappeared :-) l wish you all happy new year and Christmas Day
