FTP access disable in AIX

I have AIX machine communication to mainframe machine. From AIX machine, i have to use always SSH communication. For this, i have created SSH tunnel in AIX machine and using FTP with SSH.

Now both connections are working:
1) only FTP to mainframe machine
2) create SSH and do FTP with SSH.

The problem i have is, i do not want FTP alone working. At any case, FTP alone should not be possible. It should support only SSH connection.

How to restrict FTP communication ?

FTP needs to commented in /etc/inetd.conf and then execute 'refresh -s inetd'.

Sorry. My question does not include full details..

From my AIX machine, I have to disable FTP to only one mainframe machine. Because, there are several machines which are communicating to my AIX machine with FTP.

see the man page of man ftphosts

you can deny ftp from hosts

allow ftp 10.0.0.*
deny ftp 10.*.*.*
allow ftp *
