Thanks for your reply. Unix System Services runs under the MVS operating
systems. All tcpip, ftp, etc... run under USS. We haven't actually used ftps
on the mainframe but this is how IBM suggets you secure ftp, atleast on the mainframe. It also has built in functions for SAF (security) calls to our files. The AIX side, in our tests, is the client.
