Data lokie games?

for some reson lokie games do not let me play the games on my linux box i go and install it but will not let me play them acts like it wants to run the game but will not open what do i do
i have return to wolfinstine
and unreal 2003
and seriurs sam
and quake 1,2,3
and starwars jedi 2
and many more and
i can run some off of wine

so what do i do the cdrom will not let me run the game
my cdrom is on /mnt/cdrom or cdrom2

If "photopia.dat" is a game. To play it, you would normally type "frotz photopia.dat" (assuming you are in the directory where photopia.dat resides). SDL_CDPlayTracks plays the given CD starting at track start_track, for ntracks tracks. start_frame is the frame offset, from the beginning of the start_track, at which to start. nframes is the frame offset, from the beginning of the last track (start_track+ntracks), at which to end playing. SDL_CDPlayTracks should only be called after calling SDL_CDStatus to get track information about the CD. Note: Data tracks are ignored. RETURN VALUE
