Hi
I wanted to search for 2 patterns. These patterns are matched only if the if condition is matched for example:
This is the kind of command that I have in mind which is obviously not correct:
awk '/abc/ if ($1>10) {print);/xyz/ if ($2>5) {print)' myfile
myfile:

There are 4 ways the user can input data and unfortunately the parse rules for each are slightly different. The first condition works great and the input file is attached for the second condition. Conditions 3 and 4 will follow I'm sure I will have trouble with them and need help as well. The... (9 Replies)
I am trying to look for $2 of file1 (skipping the header) in $2 of file2 (skipping the header) and if they match and the value in $10 is > 30 and $11 is > 49, then print the line from file1 to a output file. If no match is foung the line is not printed. Both the input and output are tab-delimited.... (3 Replies)
I have been reading old posts and trying to come up with a solution for the below: Use a tab-delimited input file to assign
point to variables that are used to update a specific field, Rank. I really couldn't find too much in the way of assigning points
to variable, but made an attempt at an awk... (4 Replies)

Locale::Codes::LangFam - standard codes for language extension identification
SYNOPSIS
use Locale::Codes::LangFam;
$lext = code2langfam('apa'); # $lext gets 'Apache languages'
$code = langfam2code('Apache languages'); # $code gets 'apa'
@codes = all_langfam_codes();
@names = all_langfam_names();
DESCRIPTION
The "Locale::Codes::LangFam" module provides access to standard codes used for identifying language families, such as those as defined in
ISO 639-5.
Most of the routines take an optional additional argument which specifies the code set to use. If not specified, the default ISO 639-5
language family codes will be used.
SUPPORTED CODE SETS
There are several different code sets you can use for identifying language families. A code set may be specified using either a name, or a
constant that is automatically exported by this module.
For example, the two are equivalent:
$lext = code2langfam('apa','alpha');
$lext = code2langfam('apa',LOCALE_LANGFAM_ALPHA);
The codesets currently supported are:
alpha
This is the set of three-letter (lowercase) codes from ISO 639-5 such as 'apa' for Apache languages.
This is the default code set.
