Hi
I need to do some thing like "find and insert before that " in a file which contains many records. This will be clear with the following example.
The original data record should be some thing like this
60119827 RTMS_LOCATION_CDR INSTANT_POSITION_QUERY 1236574686123083rtmssrv7 ... (8 Replies)
I want to find the top N entries for a certain field based on the values of another field.
For example if N=3, we want the 3 best values for each entry:
Entry1 ||| 100
Entry1 ||| 95
Entry1 ||| 30
Entry1 ||| 80
Entry1 ||| 50
Entry2 ||| 40
Entry2 ||| 20
Entry2 ||| 10
Entry2 ||| 50... (1 Reply)
So, I need to do some summing. I have an Apache log file with the following as a typical line:
127.0.0.1 - frank "GET /apache_pb.gif HTTP/1.0" 200 2326
Now, what I'd like to do is a per-minute sum. So, I can have awk tell me the individual minutes, preserving the dates(since this is a... (7 Replies)
I am trying to see if I can use awk to remove duplicates from a file. This is the file:

Hi ALL,
We have requirement in a file, i have multiple rows.
Example below:
Input file rows

In the tab-delimeted input file below I am trying to use awk to update the value in $2 if TYPE=ins in bold, by adding the value of
HRUN= in italics. In the below since in line 1 TYPE=ins the 117282541 value in $2 has 6 added because that is the value of HRUN=.
Hopefully the awk is a start but I... (2 Replies)
I am trying to output a tab-delimited result that uses the data from a tab-delimited file to combine and subtract specific lines.
If $4 matches in each line then the first matching sequential $6 value is added to $2, unless the value is 1, then the original $2 is used (like in the case of line... (3 Replies)
Hi Team,
In the below input file, if I have the value 23,24,25 then for those records 1st field value should get updated from "a" to "b". I also want to pass these values in file as input as it can be done dynamically. Tried awk commands but not getting desired output.Using SunOS 5.10 version.... (14 Replies)
I have the following script that will average the last two fields of each row, but im not sure how to include the 3rd field of the following row.
An example of the analysis that I need to perform from the input - (66.61+58.01+54.16)/3

Hi,
So awk is driving me crazy on this one. I have searched everywhere and read man, docs and every related post Google can find and still no luck. The actual files I need to run this on are sensitive in nature, but it is the same thing as if I needed to calculate weighted grades for multiple... (15 Replies)

gllinewidth
GLLINEWIDTH(3G)GLLINEWIDTH(3G)NAME
glLineWidth - specify the width of rasterized lines
C SPECIFICATION
void glLineWidth( GLfloat width )
PARAMETERS
width Specifies the width of rasterized lines. The initial value is 1.
DESCRIPTION
glLineWidth specifies the rasterized width of both aliased and antialiased lines. Using a line width other than 1 has different effects,
depending on whether line antialiasing is enabled. To enable and disable line antialiasing, call glEnable and glDisable with argument
GL_LINE_SMOOTH. Line antialiasing is initially disabled.
If line antialiasing is disabled, the actual width is determined by rounding the supplied width to the nearest integer. (If the rounding
results in the value 0, it is as if the line width were 1.) If | DELTA x | >= | DELTA y |, i pixels are filled in each column that is ras-
terized, where i is the rounded value of width. Otherwise, i pixels are filled in each row that is rasterized.
If antialiasing is enabled, line rasterization produces a fragment for each pixel square that intersects the region lying within the rec-
tangle having width equal to the current line width, length equal to the actual length of the line, and centered on the mathematical line
segment. The coverage value for each fragment is the window coordinate area of the intersection of the rectangular region with the corre-
sponding pixel square. This value is saved and used in the final rasterization step.
Not all widths can be supported when line antialiasing is enabled. If an unsupported width is requested, the nearest supported width is
used. Only width 1 is guaranteed to be supported; others depend on the implementation. Likewise, there is a range for aliased line widths
as well. To query the range of supported widths and the size difference between supported widths within the range, call glGet with argu-
ments GL_ALIASED_LINE_WIDTH_RANGE, GL_SMOOTH_LINE_WIDTH_RANGE, GL_SMOOTH_LINE_WIDTH_GRANULARITY.
NOTES
The line width specified by glLineWidth is always returned when GL_LINE_WIDTH is queried. Clamping and rounding for aliased and
antialiased lines have no effect on the specified value.
Nonantialiased line width may be clamped to an implementation-dependent maximum. Call glGet with GL_ALIASED_LINE_WIDTH_RANGE to determine
the maximum width.
ERRORS
GL_INVALID_VALUE is generated if width is less than or equal to 0.
GL_INVALID_OPERATION is generated if glLineWidth is executed between the execution of glBegin and the corresponding execution of glEnd.
