We have a sftp server which creates files daily and keeps 6 months of files on the server. We are creating a daily job to get the files and load into database. My problem is "how to get ONLY those files which got created after my last get". Let me provide some more details to it.

In linux how to create a directory with specified size, so that it can be used only up to the mentioned size.
Actually my question is, whether we can do directory quota in linux.

i have added new LUN to Redhat 5. i have already scanned LUN devices and it is confirmed that Kernel sees the newly added LUN's. i have used /proc/partitions and verified that my disks are there.

DESCRIPTION
The store functions are designed to copy small amounts of data to user-space.
The store routines provide the following functionality:
subyte() Stores a byte of data to the user-space address base.
suword() Stores a word of data to the user-space address base.
suword16() Stores 16 bits of of data to the user-space address base.
suword32() Stores 32 bits of of data to the user-space address base.
suword64() Stores 64 bits of of data to the user-space address base.
suswintr() Stores a short word of data to the user-space address base. This function is safe to call during an interrupt context.
RETURN VALUES
The store functions return 0 on success or -1 on failure.
