If it's a distance education program, then you might want to find out in-depth, the syllabus and material content (especially read a few pages of their study material to gauge the quality, may be from a friend who's already pursuing the course). From what I gather, distance education programs are not as solid as regular go-to-college-and-study programs, if you know what I mean. So you would really have to put in a lot of efforts yourself.
