I would be happy to redirect it to a file but it doesn't seem to work when the program being run has to update data in the terminal output. Works fine for anything that just outputs it's data and ends though.

Pseudo-terminal will not be allocated because stdin is not a terminal.

I am trying to automate a SSH login using Keys using the following command ssh -i id_rsa usernamw@ipaddr. I am successful in doing this and i am getting the Warning Screen and I logon successfully. but when I am executing the command tail -1cf put.dat | ssh -i id_rsa username@ipaddr > get.dat ... Hello everyone,I'm reading a book and there's code fragment: exec 3>&1 ls -l 2>&1 >&3 3>&- | grep bad 3>&- exec 3>&- It says that the red part of that code does not close fd 3 but the green does close the fd 3.I can't understand that.....Why?Any predicate will be appreciated.:) (18 Replies)

mhub [options] DESCRIPTION
mhub reads pointer events from the LibGII default device and outputs mouse protocol data and/or mhub data to the specified files. The default device is specified with the GII_INPUT environment variable, see the libgii(7) manual for more info. OPTIONS
-h displays this help and exit -v output version information and exit -d print contents of received events to standard error -s terminate program when a SIGPIPE signal is received. The default is to ignore SIGPIPE. -e BUTNR only generate mhub events for buttons >= BUTNR. The default is 4. -b FILE output mhub events to FILE -2 FILE output PS/2 format data to FILE -i FILE output (serial) IntelliMouse format data to FILE -m FILE output MouseSystems format data to FILE -r FROM TO remap button FROM to button TO -w BUTNR transform wheel up motion to a BUTNR mhub event -W BUTNR transform wheel down motion to a BUTNR mhub event A maximum of 20 mhub event outputs and 20 mouse data outputs are supported.
