does the server have more than one IP address or more than one name for the given IP?
How do the clients connect to the server: IP address, local name resolution, internet dns?
Which HTTP server are you using?

Hi all.
I am trying to use BIND9 as DNS server. All goes well, except that i can't lookup my relative LAN hostnames instead of full domain names.
F.e. i can lookup
host hostname.subdomain.domain
but can't
host hostname
