       bool is_string (mixed  $var)

DESCRIPTION

	Finds whether the type given variable is string.

PARAMETERS

	      o $var
		- The variable being evaluated.

RETURN VALUES

	Returns TRUE if $var is of type string, FALSE otherwise.

EXAMPLES
