I have solaris X4500 with ILOM version 1.1.1. I want to update the firmware. I know that we need to use
load -source tftp://tftpserver/image file
But I do not understand what is the IP address of the tftp server that we need to type in there.
Kindly, help me with this.

I have a Solaris 10 OS having kernal patch level 138888-03 on several servers but recenlty I upgraded it into 142900-12 on some T-Series servers & v890 server after install them my syslog is increasing at a rate of 1GB on average on all servers . I've just upgraded OS - using "Migration with nimadm". The Nim master is a Power 6 server, and the source is 6100-09-04-1441.
The migration was successful with a Power 6 - Nim client, but there was a problem with Power 5 - Nim client : the OS remained 6100-00-09-0920

install-solaris install-solaris invokes the Solaris Install program. Depending on graphical capability and available memory at the time of invocation, install-solaris invokes either a text-based installer or a graphical installer. The following minimum requirements for physical memory dictate which features are available during installation: For SPARC machines: 128 MB Minimum physical memory for all installation types 128 MB Minimum physical memory required for windowing system 384 MB Minimum physical memory required for graphical-based installation For x86 machines: 256 MB Minimum physical memory for all installation types 256 MB Minimum physical memory required for windowing system 512 MB Minimum physical memory required for graphical-based installation In some cases, even if the minimum physical memory is present, available virtual memory after system startup can limit the number of fea- tures available. install-solaris exists only on the Solaris installation media (CD or DVD) and should be invoked only from there.
