1. Connect the scsi disk to a workstation.
2. login as root
Enter the following commands
drvconfig
disks
format
Normally you can see all the disks on the system and choose the new one.
Example:
# format
Searching for disks...done
AVAILABLE DISK SELECTIONS:
0. c0t0d0 <SUN2.1G cyl 2733 alt 2 hd 19 sec 80> /io-unit@f,e0200000/sbi@0,0/dma@0,81000/esp@0,80000/sd@0,0

Specify disk (enter its number):
