how to lock keyboard without using lock command
You can either Modify your /etc/csh.cshrc and /etc/csh.login file to set a timeout. Else you can set your shell prompt to freeze the screen after certain time or no-activity. I code a csh using autologout : the shell variable can be set to log out or lock the shell after a given number of minutes of inactivity.
