You might try submitting a bug report to Redhat if 7.3 doesn't work any better than 7.2 with your keyboard.

Any normal PC keyboard should at least work with the standard 101-key setting...

I did see, however on the Compaq site, that they've has problems (and provided updates) that the Internet Keyboard will just plain stop working somtimes.

Hmm... Give 7.3 a shot - then try a bug report.

Linux not booting when keyboard is unplugged
