Computer NVRAM reset

Well guys [and girls of cours]
I think i found something
here at this url from sun :
and if you look at page 49 or so
you can see that there are two jumpers on the mother board:
J2703 == Flash PROM Write Protect /Write Enable
J2804 == Flash PROM Hi-Lo Booting

can anyone help me with these Jumpers ?

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to have cron change your password every month from an encrypted list of passwords?I have several servers I hardly ever go near but when I do the password has always expired and it takes a long time to get the administrators to reset it for me. Need to crack username and password on laptop

I am not a computer geek but I recently was given a Dell Latitude c400 laptop which has Red Hat Linux 2.4.20-6 GRUB Version 0.93. cat_nvram - Dumps the contents of nvram to STDOUT. SYNOPSIS
cat_nvram upper_method DESCRIPTION
cat_nvram is a helper program from the package nvram-wakeup. It dumps the contents of nvram to stdout using direct I/O functions. OPTIONS
upper_method specifies the method which should be used to access the upper part of NVRAM. See nvram-wakeup.conf(5) for a list of possible values. SEE ALSO
