System Nonpaged Pool
Hi friend,
I'm using more than 4 windows 2000 servers as web and db server. Recently, I have encountered a problem on 2 of the web w2k server was hung. Not mush I can't do except restarting the server. When I checked the event viewer under system log, this is the message i found (The server was unable to allocate from the system nonpaged pool because the pool was empty. The source = Svr and Event ID = 2019). I did searched at the microsoft site but it doesn't help. Is any one there encountered the same issue like me, please advice what to check and do. cheers, vestro |

Hi Vestro,
checkout the utility poolmon.exe from microsoft with which you can log the detailed usage of paged and non-paged pool by all the drivers of teh softwares installed in teh system. find which is consuming more and report to teh vendor of that software OR you can atleast simply uninstall that software :-) --ilan |
