Hello everyone,
I have a problem with my windows XP, the problem started when I discovered a PUP (Potential Unwanted Program), that used to generate pop ups. I uninstalled it, but it started to regenerate itself! so I had to delete it, and everything has anything to do with this program. Unfortunately, one of the things that I deleted ( I don't know which one) affected my windows badly, insuch away that I couldn't open anything. I tried to open them from program files, but when I click on any .exe file it come up with a massage saying ( windows can not open this file) and when I choose ( Use the web service to find the appropriate program) it doesn't go to the web browser ( although there is no problem with the internet). I know the best solution is to reinstall windows. However, when I put the CD in and I click on Set-up it came with the same message ( windows can not.......) as set-up is an exe file. Can anyone help me please?? Can anyone tell me which file that executes the .exe files? Thank youvery much |
