To explain with just a bit of information, its about an ETL project. In which the software ( am working on ) rebuilds itself or auto-configures based on the input format and a language parser to support rules specified by the user.

So virtually whatever be the format in the world, this software will adjust and extract the needed information configured by rules which are in plain english.

Is there something that you have come across such a kind of system already ? As far as I know, I haven't. Good that you brought it out if something is there, I don't have to reinvent the wheel again.
