Smile Network Simulations...

Hi friends,

I am doing my Masters in Electrical Engineering. I was just given a chance to be a RA if I can show some smoothness in my coding with Network Simulation (NS-2). I was just wondering if any of you people is working with Network Simulators. Can anybody tell me the future of it in terms of Jobs and Career? Should I accept this offer? any suggestions and help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

i cannot tell you about job prospects but i don't think it'll hurt your chances of landing a good job at all ... companies may or may not be looking for wintel admins or unix admins or both sometimes but they could always use somebody with network experience ...

i'd take the offer if it were up to me ...
