What is the scope of ' active participation ' here ?

Code:
Helping other members by contributing / exchanging ideas, solutions
Regularly going through the posts of the forum - more like a reader
Specifically concentrating on a particular subforum and not in all the subforums
or the term subject to individual's notion

Same here - just UNIX.COM. I've tried others, but have generally been unimpressed by their content, and their lack of proper moderation (i.e. high noise ratio).

Cheers,

I said 2. The other is Arch Linux. It shares the traits I like about Unix.com in that there is very little spam, flaming, etc. and the technical info tends to be very good quality.
