UNIX Essentials/Core DVD

I am interested in getting Boris Vinnick's Unix Essentials and UNIX Core DVD. Is this strictly a lecture video? Does it provide exercises to work on? If anyone has used the DVD, I would like to know your experience.

we do ...

We use it as a standard for new users training. We have corporative license. It is series of lessons (some 10-12 min each) with combined explanations and on screen examples and diagrams. You follow it, make "pause" as you need to practice and continue and so on. I found there're plenty of reviews on Amazon. If you need it fast it is very efficient. I personally think it is GREAT course, the best I’m aware of. It teaches the workflow, how things follow one another, the logic behind the operations.
