Not too many I bet! The 'client' is a massive 530MB download! I checked.

Eve is a space based MMORPG

But interesting question. Who has played a MMORPG in the past? It can be either text based (browser based) or with a specific client that you have to download.

I have played the Legend of the Green Dragon (browser based) for a little while. It can get quite addictive (esp when you get to the levels when you can challenge and kill the Green Dragon).

Hehehe yeah I suppose that could be considered massive... I think my perception has been a blurred ever since sitting through some of the early 1g plus everquest patch chains in 99 or 00.
Eve is a really pretty environment to play a very detailed clone of tradewars (well at least imo). Without of course some deranged sysop moving systems around randomly for his own advantage
So what all mmo's have you all played?
For me
Various MUD's in the 80's
Ultima Online (I still have nightmares of the wood chopping sound)
Everquest
Dark age of camelot
a brief foray into star wars galaxies
World of warcraft (3 months 2 level 60's and quit)
now Eve

Cheers,
Eron
