Where is the Best Place to Host a Software Project?
If you were going to maintain some open source code, where, in your opinion, is the best web site to host a collaborative project?

Has anyone had any experience with cvsdude? They claimed (and still claim) to offer free CVS/Subversion hosting for open source or non-commercial projects but requires a banner displayed on the home page as reciprocation.
Some years ago I would like to put something on public CVS or Subversion to invite public collaboration but my licence is a slightly adapted version of the Artistic Licence, but it's not commercial either, so I had thought about going with them but ended up doing nothing myself. But I'm still looking for one. If you know of any offers matching my situation, please suggest so. Thanks.
