Lightbulb Certification Programme for Unix Shell Scripting

Hi All,

Can any one know about "Certification Programme for Unix Shell Scripting"?
How do I become Certified Unix shell scripting programmer? Where will I get this certification? How do I continue my career as a script programmer? What are the additional things to learn.

Currently I know Unix Shell Scripting, Perl Scripting, Sed and AWK.
Also I like to continue my career with scripting. What are the additional things to learn after the above?

Iam in a big confusion. Please guide me.

With Regards,
Ganapati.

Don't know about other certifications.

This is somehow OT but I think that you should consider system administration or development, with some high-level programming language, rather than shell scripting, for your career.
The shell scripting may be very useful, but I think it's more like an "add-on" for other employments. I've never heard of someone serching to hire a "shell scripting professional", at least here in Italy.

Just my 2 eurocent ...

P.S. Feel free to correct my english.

Thanks again, Radoulov.

I know C, C++, Java, Oracle SQL/PL-SQL very well.
But I would like to continue in the field of UNIX development (not in admin) also I like to build my career in this technology. But Iam in totally confusion about my next steps. I dont know what to do.

Is there any opening in Italy for my profile. (Also I like Italy very much).
Currently Iam working for one small Software firm in India.

Thanks for your light.

With Regards,
Ganapati.

We go completely off-topic. Post this question on some job forum or news group.

A positive reply would violate Rule 7 - No job postings from headhunters or recruiters.

Please be careful.
