disable cmahost cmahostd cmafcad
I need to disable the following agents "cmahost cmahostd cmafcad" by adding them to a line that starts with exclude in the /opt/compaq/cma.conf file. This requires that I stop the following services.
hpasm and hpsmhd. Modify the file and then restart the services.
What I would like to know is, will stopping or starting the agents in anyway affect the VM cluster.
This is a very messy environment with Pillar storage, Blades, VM and to make it more complicated they are running insight manager and virtual infrastructure.

Do you only have a production environment?

Or, do you have a development and testing environment as well?
