Question Unix ISO's for FTP, I've searched the other Posts

Where Do I download Unix ISO's for free? I have searched this database for other related posts, but to no avail. All I need is this info, and I don't want Linux; just a Unix site. Please and thank you for your help.

I may be mistaken, but I believe that with the exception of FreeBSD, there are no free Unix ISO available...Unix isn't governed by the GNU general public liscence, which, essentially, is why linux is free...

To further expound upon what djtrippin wrote...

The closest you are going to find to most commercial Unixes is probably going to be the *BSDs such as Free/Open/NetBSD. Free and NetBSD have ISOs available for download. OpenBSD must be installed either from FTP (free) or from CD-ROM (purchased).

You can also download Solaris x86 version 8 for $20 from Sun. That's not too shabby for a commercial Unix.

Computer

Thank you, I had previously found solaris 9 for download for free, but it was multi files, which had tho be made in DOS and for some reason after I made them the Images were a lot smaller in ISO format. When I tried to load after burning, neither of the 3 disc's would load. so go fig. I thought BSD was linux.
