Need help again?

I'm thinking of buying that new $199 dollar pc from Wal-Mart. I already have a high performance system but I want another system just to play around with and get started using Linux and Unix. How much disk space is needed to run Linux and Unix for developing software? Would this be a good buy?

Any suggestions for a cheap monitor also?

What are the specs of the machine? Don't these machines get shipped with a distro of Linux? I am thinking Lindows or RedHat?

If it has a 15 or 20 gig drive you should be good to go for playing around in a development environment. Any particular type of development?

Here are the specs

VIA C3 800 MHz processor offers comparable performance to the 800 MHz Celeron processor
133 MHz frontside bus
128 MB memory
10 GB hard drive
CD-ROM drive
Integrated 10/100 Ethernet connection
LindowsOS operating system
Modem and floppy disk drive
are not include

I am planning on getting into Game Development. I can use my other pc but I don't want to clutter it up with two Operating Systems. Would Lindows be a good OS for developing or should I go with a Unix OS?
