uuencode command gives junk values

How to attach a file with the uuencode.

It gives me some junk values in the mail body that i received.

i used the following command
uuencode Load_Measure_Summary.tsv | mailx -s "an HTML file" <<mailid>>

Plz Help me Urgetnt

uuencode - now there's a blast from the past!
First, I notice that on Linux at least, the syntax is
Code:
uuencode file name

to encode the file to stdout, but YMMV on a different system.
What were you expecting and what did you get when you uuencoded the file Load_Measure_Summary.tsv? I would expect the encoding to begin with
Code:
begin 640 name

where "name" is the name supplied on the command line. and end with
Code:
end
