physically prohibit access to keyboard?

Are you talking about physically locking your keyboard? There are hard plastic covers that you can buy, but that is going a little overboard...

If you can use the lock command or logout if it is a telnet session which might be even better than lock.

I don't really understand you need to restrict physical access. Even I am not that paranoid!Smilie

You can either Modify your /etc/csh.cshrc and /etc/csh.login file to set a timeout. Else you can set your shell prompt to freeze the screen after certain time or no-activity. I code a csh using autologout : the shell variable can be set to log out or lock the shell after a given number of minutes of inactivity.
