help : crisis situation !!

Hi

I had deleted important files from my company server Smilie
the server is HPUX
and i don't know how to undo rm command or how to restore the files ..

iam appreciate for any help

There is no general way to undo an rm command on HP-UX. The only real solution is to restore the files from backup and the details of how to do that vary depending on the backup software which is use.

Perderabo is correct but there are sometimes ways of regenerating certain system files, is it user data or system data you've lost?

actually it is JAVA files written by me
it is Java classes

In that case, I suspect your only option would be to talk to your systems admin and get them to restore it from backup.

Many people use a source code management tool such as cvs, sccs, or subversion, for this reason.
