What are job prospects for Unix Linux administrator?
What are job prospects for Unix Linux administrator?

How much does the Linux administrator suppose to earn nowadays?

I notice that the IT wage scale has been dropping across the board in Canada so I wonder if Linux administrator enumeration is affected too.

it depends on what you can do... basic administration is not as good as a administrator with knowledge in san, high availability and so on... the more you can, the more you CAN earn!

What field of Linux is in high demand? Gbuntu, Redhat, HPUnix..etc

unix... solaris, aix, hp-ux... and the enterprise versions of linux... rhel and sles... i have no experience with ubuntu in enterprise environments. only for home and desktop use...
