Question Copy files from a directory by ftp

Hi all,
I have to enable users to access a folder by ftp. Could you tell me which configurations files I must modify or create? Thanks

It is traditional in these forums to tell people what operating system you are using, and in this case which implementation of ftpd.

However normally people just need a UNIX user account to login via and the appropriate access rights, for example membership of the group that owns the folders.

With AIX I suggest you do all your configuration using "smit".

1. What errors are people getting?

2. Do you have the "ftpd" service started?
