Question

How can I know that my FreeBSD OS has commands mkdir or mkfile?
Can I do like this:
find / -name mkdir
find / -name mkfile
But I do not see them???
Thanks.

use whereis to locate programs

whereis mkdir

Quote:
The whereis utility checks the standard binary, manual page, and source directories for the specified programs, printing out the paths of any it finds.
or use locate
