Delete all files of a particular user

How do I delete all directories and files belonging to a particular userid in a directory and its subdirs?

Code:
find your_path -user user_name -exec rm -rf {} \;

I tried this. I used ls -ltr so to test before removing. It is listing files of other users aslo. For certain files it is giving Value too large to be stored in data type.

Try the options in find. The command works for me.

man find

try this

\rm -r directory : this will remove all the subdir also.

I have tried the man page. I could not find anything worth my use there. I specified the command

find path -user user_name -exec ls -ltr {} \;

Anything missing above?

One more Question...

Why it says value too large to be stored in data type when I fire this command
