Clock Trouble
Hey ppl, i was wonddering, in mandrake, how to get the clok to display the time in non-military format....hehe thank you im just tired of looking at 18:00 hehe thank you

date display change
You can change the "display" of the date by using the "date" command. It has many formats that you can use. Just do "man date" to view the options.

Go about 1/3 of the way down the manpage for the description.

However, the underlying system time cannot be changed. It must be in military time, 24-hour clock.

Are you asking about chaning the format of the clock in KDE or Gnome? If so, you should be able to right-click on it and choose either "Properties" or "Adjust Time Format" depending on which clock you are running.
