FTP questions

Hi,

Is there a way you can FTP GET a file and maintain or retain the original creation date of the file at the source when the file is transfered to a destination in your server using the regular FTP command?

If the answer is yes, how do you do it? Can you show the Unix shell script?

If the answer is no, what other ways you would recommend if the regular FTP command cannot do it?

Thanks in advanced...
