i did not get dhcp screen when installing solaris ( my wireless network was on then). Then i again tried reinstalling, when connected to LAN through the ethernet card. Again, i did not get the dhcp option while installing.

my ethernet card is Broadcom 440x 10/100 integrated controller
my wireless card is intel(r) pro/wireless 2200bg network connection.

i have the ip address of the router, dns address 1 & 2 and other data.

can you guys help me setup my solaris system to access the network. is there any free downloadable software for solaris which would help setup and monitor the network. my current wireless network has WEP protection.

thanks

You need to go to broadcom.com and download the driver for your NIC.

http://www.broadcom.com/support/ethe...oaddrivers.php

Scroll down that page for the 440x drivers.
