Divvy command

I am trying to configure a usb 2Tb hard drive to be used as a backup device. I am having a problem setting the file system on c2b0t0d0p1s1. Can anyone point me to a resource with a resolution?

What operating system is this?

(Perhaps 2TB is too big a filesystem for this O/S. I would try a small size and see if it works. If so, increase the size in stages until you find what the limit is. Alternatively RTFM for your O/S.)

I may be completely wrong on this but IMHO it's the first thing to try.

Other than that, I can't see anything obvious that you're doing wrong.

Also, are you running this as root user or non-root user?

And, what hardware is it?
